I really enjoyed the evening, part of which I spent in my room

Exceptionally clean and tidy. We liked the design of the room, which felt very authentic. The staff were really nice and we felt very welcome — really enjoyed the dinner, which was so nicely prepared and delicious.

Ichimaru Ryokan - Vacation STAY 35990v ligger i Tenkawa i Dorogawa Onsen-kvarteret. Samtlige værelser på hotellet har skrivebord og tv. I had expected the place to be a hotel and only realised after arriving that it was a traditional Japanese inn. The hosts were fantastic. Communication was with translation by iPhone but everything was clear. The inn is traditional so be prepared for the futon bed and the shared bathroom and washing facilities. But it's also small so we did not need to queue or wait. We were also provided with traditional dress which we wore to the craft beer bar close by. The hosts were wonderful. Everything from arranging a taxi to advice on what we needed for the hot spring bath in the village. The breakfast and dinner (it's an inn so both are included even though breakfast is mentioned only) were amazing. It was at a level I would expect in an expensive restaurant here but felt like you were in a home and not a hotel. The area is great for hiking and the village is just super nice. Great ice-cream place nearby also. All in all it was the best weekend break I have ever had and I have loads of memories - my advice is to go there and just immerse yourself without expectations. Again the hosts were amazing

I really thought it was of great value for what I paid and although the room was smaller than I would like – I spent most my time exploring so I was just happy to come back to a comfortable and cozy place to rest and relax with a hot bath and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

I was so enjoyed staying there and also the time to talk with the locals (but you may need to have some Japanese communication skill, or even you cannot, I am certainly sure that they will somehow communicate with you with their best). You must try Sento, the public available for free to their guest staying there.

Dinner was excellent and very interesting, lots of new flavors and the waitress was super nice. Same with the breakfast, excellent. The onsen was amazing and the room was beautiful, very big, and had everything we could ever need. It was also super close to the station. The consierge spoke at least japanese, english and spanish. I would totally recommend and stay there again.

Good location (if you have car), they have free parking, the rooms are really space and comfortable. The lake view was very nice, we really enjoyed. There is a veranda, very nice to have a breakfast watching the view. I really liked the sound system in the room, it has many channels with good music :) The bathtub with jacuzzi was amazing, there is a tv in front of the bathtub, for the price was amazing! staffs are friendly, but unfortunately they don’t have a vegan breakfast, besides that, we were very satisfied!

Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. Would recommend it to anyone with children/families wanting to stay somewhere with pools and onsens. The staff at the facility were great and hopeful when ever we had any enquires.

The staff at Hotel Nosegawa was amazing. I casually asked if there was anywhere I could get oatmeal and soy milk and the next day when I came down, they had gone all the way into Koyasan and got me oatmeal and soy milk. Wow, I was shocked, that was above and beyond and totally unexpected. Such a generous group. The public bath was clean and enjoyable. In addition, the free shuttle to Koyasan was super convenient. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is at a perfect location right next to the train station. Although the room is not so spacious, it offers complimentary snacks, drinks and soup noodles after an amazing hot spring experience.
